I was just sitting here tonight putting Blue Copper 5 Molecular Repair Crème Treatment Seven Night Ampoule Series on my face, and my daughter who is 12 looked at me and said, “Oh so that’s why your face looks all glossy all the time.” I answered, “Oh, does it look better?” and she said, “Not really, it looks like you got a bunch of Botox on your face.”

According to all the write-ups, Porter has shaken and then renovated the anti-aging skincare industry with her desire to provide serious anti-aging skin and hair care products to produce serious results. Osmotics works with world-renowned scientists and leading university medical and research centers to incorporate the latest breakthroughs and provide the most advanced thinking in the skin care arena with clinically validated ingredients and technologies. So, I figured, it can’t hurt. Even though this product has been around for more than 20 years, copper is this year’s ‘hot ingredient.’ So I was more than happy to try this out.

First, you will notice that you will get a lot more than 7 days out of this treatment. Unless your face is the size of Alaska, you will pretty much be able to do two seven day treatments with this product, if not more. Second, after about the second day your skin is tighter and shinier than it’s been in, say, 20-30 years. So, you start to feel good. Fourth or Fifth day you are sitting there wondering, “do I really need to keep doing this? I look fantastic!”

If you are going somewhere seven days from now, and you truly want to look amazing, go get this stuff because it will tighten, firm and lift your face quickly and obviously. Very quickly. Don’t despair if you even get three treatments worth out of it. I haven’t yet tried the rest of the skincare line although if it’s anything like this product, if has to be wonderful. It is sold at Duane Reade among other stores and apparently you can go into select stores and get a special weekly treatment that will make the products further penetrate your skin. Geez, I wish there was a Duane Reade in my city!

My face is finally acne free. FINALLY.

It's been a long road to this post. Check out all my previous ramblings and horrifying photos of what my face used to look like. I tried everything. Every over the counter wash. Antibiotics. Steroid shots to the face. (Lots of those.) Benzoil peroxide. Salicylic acid cleansers. Retin-A. Microderms. And finally, the big gun - Accutane. Even though it clearly halted my downhill tumble, Accutane and I didn't exactly get along. And then I had that crazy ear thing. So, basically, I gave up on my face and dealt with everything else.

We knew that stress was a big factor in my acne. And of course, I still have stress - but, as I have said many times, 2010 was a doosey. 2011 hasn't been a walk in the park - but when you spend a good deal of time on narcotics recovering from surgery - I guess the stress dissipates, right? So, here I am now.

I still have some scars and my skin was never that flawless porcelain some people just have naturally - so trust me - I'm happy. I can't thank my dermatologist here in Denver enough. Or all her staff, who I now know by name .I got hooked up with another company here in Denver a few months ago that has also been a miracle. Osmotics has a copper line that is technically for anti-aging - but it is amazing for acne issues too.

A while back, I went to their headquarters downtown and met with their founder, Francine - who is cute as a button, and coincidentally turned out to be personal friends with my dermatologist Adrienne. I stopped being astounded at the small-world nature of Denver a loooooong time ago. We talked for a long time about my skin but one thing she said stuck out. She described skin as brick and mortar just like the wall of her offices in the older LoDo area. That there needs to be balance between both for the skin to do its job, and when there are gaps - that is when toxins get in. Francine gave me several samples of their Copper products, and I am sold. Particularly the cleansing gel, which I use as a makeup remover plus general cleanser - and the serum which I use at night. I know some of the products seem a bit pricey, but they last. I have yet to run out of the serum, and only been through 2 bottles of the cleanser. In months.

And my face has stayed clear and feels soft like a baby's butt.

I am not kidding about this.

As much as we are taught not to EVER let people touch our face when we have acne problems - I now encourage people to.

TOUCH. MY. FACE.

The Necollete was a velvety  cream that applied smoothly and was easily absorbed into my skin.I think this would be an excellent addition to skin care for sun damaged skin which thins out over time... It contains Shea Butter for moisture,Vitamin A for antioxidant and elasticity properties of skin, and Calcium Hydroxy-methionoline to help restructure thin skin.It  is has soybean properties which are great for adding moisture to the neck/chest area.The Necollete Age Reversal for Neck & Chest cream claims  results can be seen as in as little as 30days. 

Blue Copper, 5 Molecular Repair Treatment, was overnight repair treatment that was applied nightly to my face after cleansing. It comes in ampules, a round of treatment has 7 nights of application. It contain Copper and Hyaluranate to aid in collagen synthesis/production as well as aid in moisturizing by adhering to water and moisture molecules. Immediately I noticed a reduction and redness,and an increase in firmness.
Eye Surgery was an amazing eye treatment with a serum texture  that tackles the three most common under eye concerns. It helps reduce the visible appearance of eye circles,puffiness, and smooths eyelid skin. The serum contains ingredients to reduce inflammation increase firmness. The serum was smooth and viscous in texture and easily absorbed by the skin in my area. I felt an immediate change in the smoothness to my skin.

This past week I tried out Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair. I have an irrational fear of getting a wrinkly chest. Eww nothing scares me more in fact. I am terrified that I will get grandma boobs too early in my life. So when I got this product I immediately began slathering it all over my chest.
This daily treatment features the next generation in copper technology: a new PENTA (5 chain) peptide molecule delivery system.  Osmotics has the first Penta-Peptide molecule that increases and maximizes the absorption and effectiveness of copper. First of all, full disclosure, I was asked to try and review these products. The review is my own opinion.

I'm giving Osmotics Cosmeceuticals products a try. Really, I'm gave them a week but after the first day, I'm more than surprised at how much I like it. I had not heard of Osmotics before being asked to try the products, however they are available at select Nordstrom, Dillards, Henri Bendel and independent spas & boutiques (plus a few more, check out their website for the full details).

METSV says:   I have been slathering this on for the past few weeks and I have to say so far so good.   Coming into my 40's has been interesting to say the least....almost over night I started seeing signs of aging and things that weren't there before suddenly show up every time I look in the mirror.  My neck and chest are the most recent additions to my list of parts of my body that bother me....(soon, I'll be needing two sheets of paper).   I definitely have the crepey neck and my chest is more lined than I care to see.   Using this cream at least helps mask the appearance.  First of all - it literally takes away the crepey look of my neck in seconds - I feel like it's tightening the area as well.... I kind of feel less saggy if that makes any sense... I then apply to my chest area and it instantly hydrates there as well.  I don't see any reversal of lines there, but I do know the overall appearance looks 10-times better with this cream on.  It's light, instantly absorbs, feels good going on - not greasy at all.    Though I am not at day 30 yet, I'm more than half way there so I just wanted to give my initial thoughts.  If the appearance of my face and neck can improve even more before the 30 day mark then I'll be even more of a happy camper.  So far, so good though!  I shouldn't be surprised.  Osmotics is such a quality line of skincare - always one step ahead in innovative skincare products like this one.

If you have sensitive skin that reacts to much of what you put on it, new launches by Osmotics Cosmeceuticals may be exactly what the doctor ordered. 

Founded by fellow sensitive skin sufferer Francine Porter in 1993, the brand has since catered to the needs of people in search of sun protection and anti-aging skincare that doesn't cause a reaction with persnickety skin. 

Blue copper peptide, an element that stimulates collagen and elasticity renewal, is a key anti-aging ingredient in the new products. "The color blue is particular to this type of peptide, which we've seen very significant results from in lab testing," Porter told StyleList. 

For those with sensitivities, the stripping of skin's natural oils that comes with cleansing is a common complaint. Osmotics attempts to address the issue with the Blue Copper Anti Aging Cleansing Gelèe, which uses a sulfate-free cleansing agent that is naturally derived from sugar. Sunscreens can prove especially tricky for sensitive types who react to chemical fillers. "Micronized zinc oxide blocks both A and B rays. It's especially important to block those A rays, which we now know are the most damaging kind -- and which so many sunscreens on the market don't adequately protect against, or protect from at all," said Porter. 

And if your skin is raw and calling out for help, Osmotics is offering a Blue Copper 5 Molecular Repair Treatment set of seven ampoules that are to be used for seven consecutive days as a spa-like calming treatment. Each ampoule contains concentrated amounts of the signature copper, as well as, super antioxidant L-Carnosine and a host of pentapeptides. A hyaluronic acid derivative hydrates skin, while special seed extracts target damaged skin regeneration. 

Priced at a steep $125, Porter says each generous-sized ampoule is really enough for two days (although we easily got three days out of just one), which includes a full face and neck application.

I got a sample from Osmotics over a month ago of their Blue Copper 5 cream. The reason that it took me so long to write the review is because I wanted to be absolutely certain that I believe in the product before I reviewed it. Osmotics claims that the Blue Copper 5 will do several things:

• Firm your bust, belly, and behind so that you can see a visible lift. 
• Prevent and visibly reduce stretch marks (up to 72%). 
• Restore healthier, radiant, more youthful texture.
• Calms redness and irritation that is caused by Rosacea and dermal procedures. 

That’s a tall order so you can’t really blame me for being a bit cautious here. As it turns out, they delivered on their promises. While it’s ok to use the Blue Copper 5 on your face, I just used it on my problem areas and in about three weeks I could feel and see changes. Maybe it’s the science behind the cream or maybe it’s that the cream is so moisturizing, but my skin actually felt firmer, softer and looked better.

As directed, I applied the  Osmotics cream twice a day to the areas that I wanted to improve and found that the Blue Copper 5 didn’t feel greasy, heavy or oily at all. In fact it felt great on my skin and lasted through the day and night. This cream is so moisturizing that even while in the shower, it continued to make my skin feel softer.

Besides feeling super moisturized, I could actually feel a visible lift on the areas where the cream was applied. The stretch marks are still there, but they look lighter which is still great!
